Hospital chair for patient transport within hospital or community environment, suited for admission, accident & emergency department (A&E) and ward transfer purposes. This model is also well suited for external transfers or when there is a need to jump over obstacles or uneven ground smoothly. This is achieved thanks to the solid front wheels with 30 cm diameter. With footrest fully touching the ground and backrest up, it enables the patient to safely perform any activities involving sitting or standing up. This position also triggers an additional locking system.
Armrests can be flipped down to enter the hospital chair from the side. The backrest can be reclined via gas spring control. This movement creates a seat tilt that allows for a better position for the patient to rest and relax. The hospital chair has a “central braking system” on the two rear wheels.
The carer can easily move the hospital chair with patient on board, even in extremely small spaces. The hospital chair has a push handle and convenient back pocket. A series of accessories is available for more functions. Max weight capacity 160 kg
