This CSR statement was prepared by Wesseling BV.

Wesseling BV manufactures treatment tables, examination couches, grooming tables, stools, and related products. The frames are produced and assembled at the company’s own factory in Zwanenburg. In addition, all lying surfaces are made in the company’s own upholstery workshop.

Wesseling BV takes its responsibility seriously when it comes to corporate social responsibility and sustainable business practices—both from a societal perspective and in light of our clients’ wishes and expectations. This CSR statement is intended to provide interested parties with insight into our organization’s core values. In addition to a brief explanation of what Corporate Social Responsibility means to Wesseling BV, this statement also includes practical examples.

CSR is an integral part of our business operations and culture. To explain in this statement how Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) is embedded in our business operations, we will begin by defining the term “CSR.” In the context of CSR, Wesseling BV chooses the best available solutions in the areas of procurement, production, and consumption that can be implemented at a reasonable cost. In doing so, we strive to achieve a balance between People, Planet, and Profit. Corporate Social Responsibility is a natural part of our business operations and corporate culture. For Wesseling BV, CSR means a healthy return on investment, a better environment, and optimal well-being for our employees and society. We consider it our responsibility to adhere to the principles of this statement and to communicate them to our employees, guests, customers, and suppliers.

Wesseling BV and Corporate Social Responsibility

Wesseling BV makes ethical decisions in its business practices and treats its employees, customers, and the community with respect. In doing so, we respect and act in accordance with laws and regulations, as well as generally accepted standards and values.

One of our organization’s goals is the well-being of our employees. We promote our employees’ well-being by creating a healthy, positive, and safe work environment. Properly implemented occupational health and safety regulations are in the best interests of our organization, our employees, and our customers. A Risk Inventory and Evaluation (RI&E) has been prepared for Wesseling BV’s factory in Zwanenburg and reviewed by the Occupational Health and Safety Service.

Wesseling BV invests heavily in fostering a relaxed and positive work environment by encouraging an informal atmosphere and promoting communication that empowers employees to take personal responsibility while enjoying a great deal of freedom. In addition, an annual staff party is organized, and team-building outings are held regularly. Wesseling BV communicates openly and honestly about its policies, future plans, and any changes in direction.

Wesseling BV’s policy is to ensure that our employees remain healthy and fully productive over the long term. It is aimed at ensuring that our employees remain healthy, motivated, engaged, and therefore productive for as long as possible, both from the employees’ perspective and that of the organization. This goal is achieved through regular performance and evaluation meetings, during which potential training needs are identified. These discussions take into account the personal and professional development of employees as well as the interests and needs of the company. Participation in various forms of training is encouraged within the organization, and training programs are accessible to all employees. This regularly leads to internal career advancement, ensuring that knowledge and skills are utilized to the fullest and that our employees remain engaged and committed to our organization.

Environmentally Friendly Business Practices:

Another goal of our organization is to conduct business in an environmentally responsible manner. In carrying out our business activities, we will, to the best of our ability, implement the best technically and economically sound measures and provisions to minimize any adverse environmental impacts. Effectively managing and reducing our environmental impact is a key focus of our business operations. By implementing a credible environmental policy, we believe we can also strengthen our position as a professional service provider in the business events market from an economic standpoint. Our policy is to organize our activities in such a way that they give high priority to preventing and reducing pollution. We also set our own goals for relevant environmental measures, including the raw materials we use and third-party services, so that we can continue to improve our environmental performance.

Wesseling BV meets and complies with the requirements set forth in environmental laws and regulations. As an organization, we aim to minimize our environmental impact and strive for continuous improvement. We have identified potential environmental risks that are relevant to the organization. In addition to manufacturing high-quality products, Wesseling BV is also committed to acting in an environmentally responsible manner.

Our organization implements energy-saving measures, such as choosing green electricity whenever possible, installing insulation, and using energy-efficient materials, equipment, and lighting in the building. We raise awareness about unnecessary energy and water consumption, reduce paper use, promote waste separation, and reduce plastic waste by using coffee and tea mugs instead of plastic cups

Finally, all new suppliers are carefully selected. We set high standards for the products we purchase for our day-to-day operations, and we do the same for the products we sell.

Social Responsibility:

When it comes to corporate social responsibility, Wesseling BV places a central emphasis on its relationship with its (immediate) community, to which we aim to make an active contribution. By interacting with its social and natural environment in a mindful way, Wesseling BV fulfills its social responsibility in various ways.

Wesseling BV ensures transparency in financial reporting by filing our balance sheet and income statement with the Chamber of Commerce. Our finances are held at a reputable bank.

Wesseling BV makes a positive contribution to the local economy, primarily by hiring employees from the region, which also benefits the environment. Wesseling BV also sponsors various local organizations.
